Wellbeing at LC

Student and staff wellbeing is very important here at LC.  While we are quite a large school by Tasmanian standards, we endeavour to keep a small-school culture around student support and getting to know the young adults who we are teaching well.

For this reason, LC employs a cluster-based student support model in which Home Groups are managed and supported by a number of ASTs and an Assistant Principal.

This is in many ways similar to the grade-based approach that is modelled in many high schools, and allows our staff to effectively get to know our students and what their needs are.

Along with our amazing student support team, our teaching teams are highly focused on student wellbeing, and are always available to assist students and parents.

Please see the school contacts page for more information if you need to chat to someone.
