Assessment & Reporting
Launceston College teachers value parental interest and support and encourage parents to make contact with them on a regular basis. Assessment in all subjects is continuous throughout the year and students are made aware of the criteria being assessed for all assessment tasks.
The first formal communication with parents occurs at the beginning of the year when the Home Group teacher will contact parents.
Parents are also invited to attend an informal parent/teacher evening in Term 1 to meet Home Group and subject teachers.
